Special Education Vision Statement

  • The vision of special education in Pittsburg Unified School District is student-centered with families as partners. All students are general education students and are provided an individualized continuum of services and supports with high expectations to meet their fullest potential. 

All of Our Students Succeeding Task Force

  • The All of Our Students Succeeding Task Force was formed to review and prioritize the recommendations and findings from the Special Education Program Review, performed by Stetson and Associates during the 2015-2016 school year. The Program Review process is a multiyear process. Periodic updates on progress and review recommendations will be given at School Board meetings.
