Mrs. Kristen Yokel

Hello! 

I'm Mrs. Yokel and I teach 3rd grade at Los Medanos.  I began teaching young children in 2011 at the preschool and pre-kindergarten level and joined the Los Medanos family as a 3rd grade teacher in 2015. I live in Martinez with my husband, our son Austin, and our dog Asher. 

My goal as your student's teacher is to make sure that they learn the necessary skills and concepts and become independent, responsible students so that they can be successful in their current and future academic journey. In our class, we focus on working together as a family to help everyone be successful, not only as a student, but as a caring and respectful person.
