Hello Tiger families, and welcome to 2020/2021 school year!

Sixth grade is an exciting time as scholars embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. This is a year of important transitions, as well as one in which the acquisition of new skills is accelerated. 

My belief is that all scholars are capable of academic achievement if given the proper attention and source of inspiration. I believe that each scholar is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature. It is my desire as an educator to help scholars meet their fullest potential by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas. Maintaining each scholar’s self esteem and building a secure foundation for growth will always remain a priority in our classroom. My hope is to make your child’s learning experience a fun and exciting one, and to instill a love of learning that will last throughout their years of schooling and adulthood.
