Does the On-Line Enrollment and Student Data Confirmation link take you to the same place?

No, Online Enrollment is a site for students who are NEW to the DISTRICT to enroll.  Student Data Confirmation is for currently enrolled students and is done through Parent Portal.  Parent Portal is used to view your student’s attendance, grades, homework, etc. during the school year and to confirm your student’s data in the summer.

Help! I’m having technical difficulties (such as log on questions).

What do I need for On-Line Enrollment?
   -Be a NEW student to the District  

   -A valid email address that you have access to

   -A valid address within the school district boundaries

   -Local physician name, facility and phone number

   - Student's Emergency Contact information

   - Approximate school entry dates from prior schools if applicable

   - Approximately 30-45 minutes of your time

If you do not have an email account, you can sign up for a free email account through Comcast, Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, or SBCGlobalNet (just to name a few webmail services).

What do I need for Student Data Confirmation?
   -Be a current or pre-enrolled student at the District  

   -A valid email address that you have access to

   -Your student’s permanent ID number

   -Your student’s home phone number that is on file at the school office

   - Your student’s Verification Passcode from the school office

   - Approximately 10-15 minutes of your time


What if I have more than one student in the district? Do I need to do this for each child?

Yes, because you’ll need to provide information that is specific for each child. We recommend that you complete and submit one form and then start another with the same account.

I did On-Line Enrollment online last year, do I need to do it again this year?

No.  On-Line Enrollment is for new students to PUSD only.  Returning students or pre-enrolled students will do Student Data Confirmation in Parent Portal during the summer. Student Data Confirmation takes place every year. This process replaces the paper forms.


I did Student Data Confirmation online last year, do I need to create a new account?

No, use the same email address and password as your Parent Portal Account.

What if I forgot my password from last year?

Choose the Forgot Password link on the sign in page and follow prompts.

Do I have to answer all the questions?

Yes.  It will prompt you if you miss a question.

What if I make a mistake?

For On-Line Enrollment, if you would like to make a change, prior to submitting the form, you can either navigate back to the page using the “< Prev” and “Next >” buttons. Or if you are on the Review page, click on the edit button. If you have already submitted the form, then you will need to contact your student’s school, so they can make the changes for you.


For Student Data Confirmation you can go back to an area by clicking it on the left hand side.

How do I know if finished the On-Line Enrollment or Student Data Confirmation process?

After you press ‘Finish and Submit’, you will receive a confirming email to the email address you logged into the system with.  Print and keep your confirmation document.

I have moved, how do I change my address?

Take required information to the student’s August Site Registration.  All students are required to provide “Proof of Residence” prior to starting school in August (PG&E, lease, or utility bill).
    Please see new immunization rules for K-12 students. 
    If student has a caregiver affidavit on file, a new caregiver affidavit must be completed. This form is available during the On-Line Enrollment and Student Data Confirmation process.

I’ve completed the form, now what?

Once you have finished entering all required information, press “Finish and Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school.

If a new student, take all required documentation and confirmation to the school site. If a returning student, take all required documentation and confirmation to the August Site Registration date.
